First Monday Firkins

Tuesday, July 5, 4 PM

Straight To Ale‘s Monkeynaught IPA

Huntsville, Alabama’s Straight To Ale provides this months cask-conditioned real ale.

A firkin holds about 80 pints of unpasteurized, unfiltered beer that is naturally carbonated.

We tap a firkin on the first Monday of every month at 4 o’clock.

Huntsville Tap Handle Takeover

July 5 – 9

Featuring Blue Pants and Straight To Ale Brewing Companies

Did you know the Rocket City is also Alabama’s Premier Beer City? Occasionally we have the opportunity to sell one or two of these beers, but this time we have the good fortune to dedicate all four taps to the brewing pioneers from Huntsville. If you haven’t had them yet this is your chance.

  • Blue Pants Brewing Company’s Sans-Culottes Saison and Carpenter Pale Ale
  • Straight To Ale Brewing Company’s Kölsch and Monkeynaught IPA.

We send positive thoughts and good wishes to our friends at Huntsville’s Yellowhammer Brewing who had severe tornado damage recently. We love their beers and look forward to having them in Montgomery again soon.

Bastille Day 2011

Thursday, July 14, 4 PM

Bastille Day Fête & Farm Dinner

Liberté, égalité, fraternité!

Every year we throw a fête for Bastille Day. (Yes, we know we are a Mexican Restaurant, but we are surrounded by streets named after French explorers — so there you go!)

Enjoy an affordable three-course menu using fresh summer ingredients from our garden, plus Gold Branch Farms, Oakview Farms, Prairie Place Farms and Red Root Farms.

Featuring local cheeses and our famous Ratatouille Tacos.

And all of our wine by the glass will be $5.50.

Plus we’ll have a belly dancer at 8 o’clock! Why not?

Our regular menu will be offered that night, too!

Let them eat (Tres Leches) cake!!

Joyeux quatorze Juillet!!!

PS – We still have a few 2011 Pisces shirts available! Men’s sizes only.
